Buyers are given the option to rent out their home by the resort management. The resort management will attend to all details of promoting including advertising and marketing, renting e.g. guest reservations and deposits and maintaining e.g. repair work as needed the property. Entering into the rental pool will ensure that 13% HST tax is not paid at completion.
Should an owner not wish to enter into the rental pool 13% HST will be payable on the purchase price and the owner can stay in the home for as long as they like.
